Your keyboard sucks because its unable to register more then 2 commands at the same time in certain combinations. Let me demonstrate: Type "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" with both shift keys pressed. Post your result and your keyboard model if you feel like it.


Since I have become aware of this ive been on the hunt for a solid keyboard. To many times ive tried to reload, move forward, strafe, and then perform another task wich wont register thus making me rage. Know keyboards to pass the "lazy dog" test are das keyboard, razer tarantula, Steelseries 7g, aswell as some versions of the g11,15,19.

Why do I have to spend £100 on a gimmicky keyboard when all I am looking for is one that's able to register 4-5 keys at the same time? This is insane. If it happens to be that anyone know of a keyboard with flat scissor raised keys, that's able to pass the lazy dog test, I will give you a SC2 Europe beta key.

i don't think u will find the kind of keyboard you are looking for for very cheap, i think there are some lesser known / unbranded keyboards with full n key rollover, but not sure where you could find these.

i think the das keyboard is the best, even thier website says so

but its something like 120 euros.

Been rolling with a classic g15 with all 18 g-keys for a while now, all the paint is rubbed off on just about everything on it AND i accidentally raged at the keyboard when it wasn't the keyboards fault and smashed it on the floor as hard as i could, and the fuckin thing still works. insane. No keys even popped off or anything (I did the same rage on an older MS keyboard and 80% of the keys popped off and flew in every direction, I still find and step on one of the keys every now and then).

Beware razer keyboards no matter the price, I got a tarantula once from best buy and while the keys felt *AMAZING* there was a matrix (like o-p-l-,-.-;-/ keys) that would not register maybe 15% of the time. Doesn't sound so bad until you start typing and it is completely unusable. I figured it was just one bad keyboard. Nope. Returned the fuckin thing TWICE getting newly boxes kb's each time, 3 razer keyboards all with the same problem. Such a fucking fail company.

Anyway I'd definitely suggest checking out ebay/amazon resellers etc for cheap prices, I got this g15 for $50 way back in the day when the model was actually still being produced.

Das keyboard looks amazing, I really want one but yea they overcharge like crazy. IBM model M's are easily comparable and you can grab them for super cheap. I still have one floating around but my mic is like 5 inches above my keyboard and it would make vent people rage. :/

Logitech Illuminated Keyboard. Might look a bit like a fancy gadget but I personally think you'll be hard pressed to find a keyboard which has a nicer keystroke. Must say that gaming wasn't my primary concern when I bought it, else I would've sticked with my old cheap offbrand keyboard which had no problem with 4 commands at the same time.

I have a logitech keyboard with laptop-style keys. I like it because the travel is shorter than on a normal keyboard. I sure would like a keyboard with full n-key rollover but the only ones I could find online a few years ago were hundreds of dollars.

The das keyboard is literally exactly the same as a $20 keyboard with black keys. There's a little chart that shows the different weights for the keys on the Das keyboard and somebody found an identical chart for the aforementioned $20 one.

I think I have decided to get a SteelSeries 6G v2. They have 2 years warranty for example which makes the $80 price tag reasonable imo. Also has mechanical keys, n key rollover, and best of all, complete lack of backlight, macro keys, shiny lights and other gimmicks. It does have high keys though, but Im going to get used to it.

Also, G15s are fucking bamf... I got one when they first released and that thing went through a tornado. Still works like a fuckin bauss. Bought another one when they were 45 bucks on sale on Newegg and its a fuckin bauss (Only thing that I dislike about this one is that the backlight on the LCD screen is goin out and its really dim. Makes it hard to read the values but thats what the bars are for )

G15 X2 - Macro keys come in handy for coding sometimes and doing repetitive shit at work.
G5 mouse (The silver/orange one) @1000hz refresh, 2000 DPI
Logitech Webcam (It's what you used to stalk us at devapalooza and has amazing quality compared to most webcams, I also got it for like 20 bucks 3 years ago)
